Bodegas Monte Buena 'Montebuena' Rioja Crianza 2009

Member Review by bosoxfan23:

Not a bad wine, but, it would not be my first choice for an under $15 Tempranillo. Lacks some of the "fruit-forward" taste compared to other Tempranillos in its class - not much of a finish to this wine either - tame tannins and indistinguishable oak.

Two and a half glasses

Tasting Notes:

This dark red wine has a rich, concentrated, highly fruity nose of sweet berry, dark fruits, cedar, coffee, and some notes of leather. A full-bodied, well-balanced wine with ripe, fine tannins.
