Bodegas Mas Alta Priorat Artigas 2006

Member Review by atonalprime:

Very hot and grapey on opening. After decanting for many hours (and over night), tannins are still very present, but smoother. Cassis, light oak and smoke on the nose, a medium body, concentrated palate with notes of raspberry, cherry and cola, and a long-lasting finish of stonefruit with a subtle note of root beer.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
