Finca Antigua, Crianza 2001, Familia Martinez Bujanda DOC La Mancha 60%Temp, 20% Cabernet, 20% Merlot Rich ruby red color with light haze. Ripe raspberry, current, light spice, light vanilla, and a faint mineral followed by wood quality. Overall the nose has a very an intense richness. Med to heavy mouth feel with a strong dry finish and medium strong tannins. Strong raspberry flavors with oak showing more on the palate than the nose. Light vanilla, and a weedy green note that's almost eucalyptus like. A bit out of balance with the tannin showing a bit raw if not green leaving a slight harshness to linger in the mouth. c4a12t13o6=85 [85]

Costco $14. Nice on the nose and plenty dry. I'm new to Tempranillo - if this is a reasonable representation (the other reviews seem to indicate so), perhaps I'm just not a Tempranillo fan. Will open well ahead of time next bottle (I bought a few) and see if that helps.

Very nice wine. We bought a case of reds in the $20 range from Wine Club in SF to taste test and half way through the case, this one is probably second best.

Astonishing complexity and elegance at this price. Subtle hints of cranberry, earth and spice. Medium-bodied and dry.

This Gran Reserva Rioja wine was aged for a good 6 years before releasing for sale. This slow process is invaluable and results in a delicacy of fruit that is just mildly evolved. Made mostly from Tempranillo with the remainder Mazuelo. A powerful red wine that will match well with meat-based cuisine.

Intensives Kirschrot. In der Nase würzig, pfeffrige Aromen mit reifen Fruchtkomponenten. Im Gaumen frisch, rund gut ausbalanciert. Fruchtig mit einem langanhaltenden Abgang.

Konzentrierte, gut deckende kirschrote Farbe.
