Aromas of white peaches lychee nuts and spring flowers jump from the glass of this 100% old vine Albarino. The 2011 La Cana from a relatively new winery founded in 2008 is medium-bodied elegant and slightly restrained for an Albarino (which are usually flamboyant and aromatic). Fermented in both stainless steel and large format French oak this dry white exhibits excellent texture as well as length. Drink it over the next year. - Robert Parker Robert Parkers Wine Advocate.
