Bodegas Estancia Piedra Toro 2004

Member Review by Tudz Drkl:

This was a favorite. One of those that we finish in one meal - in spite of our better instincts - and enjoy every sip and sniff. The nose was rustic and fruity - organic earth, leather, cherries and prunes. Deep bing cherries and purple fruits dominate the mouth without the sickening super fruit forward blast so common in wine today. The balance was perfect, the tannins round and wonderfully contrasted to a lip smacking acidity. This was a bold, balanced and lovely wine.
