Bodegas Enguera Valencia Pelta 2008

Member Review by dynowine:

Action seems focused on the mid-palate with a mix of steel and sour rich ripe fruit (cherry-berry) bound together by a slight bubblegum and forest taste. Coats the mouth smoothly with pronounced tannin and medium acid. Tempranillo seems to set a simple foundaiton and the monastrell adds more interest to the mix. Nose is cooling and mildly sweet with minty herbs and mild spice. Attack is not very strong. All-in-all a good wine for the price and would pair nicely with standard dinner fare.
