User Reviews for Bodegas Emilio Moro Ribera del Duero

Winemaker's Notes:

PRODUCTION:............................330,000 bottles of 75cl 1,270 magnums TECHNICAL DATA: Alcholic degree.........................13.6° Ph.............................................3.63 Total acidity................................5.1 g/l Alcholic fermentation...............28ºC / 18days Malo-lactic fermentation..............21ºC / 20 days Length of barrel .......................Length of ageing 12 months (American and French oak) BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This wine carries the name of its creator and was the original flagship brand of the Bodega, previously sold as crianzas. However, these concepts have now disappeared, and today, the brand is solely a wine made from vines of between 15 and 25 years old, and which is aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. TASTING NOTES: This wine was made from truly top-quality grapes of excellent ripeness, which is demonstrated from the beginning to the end of the tasting. The wine displays an intense colour with a bluish rim and a cherry-red core. Attractive, perfectly integrated fruit aromas come to the fore with power and concentration.
