As soon as I took my first whiff, it was instant heaven! It’s got quite the bouquet of jammy fruit, some violets and the oak is to die for. Clearly a wine from Spain. I mean, you can smell the earth and in fact, I think I picked up a little bit of truffle on the nose with such a lovely sweet oaky (french) background. It’s RICH! I took the first sip which brings a lot of blueberry, some chocolate notes, dark current and oak, again on the finish. It is a very nicely balanced wine. Inky purple. Vibrant red and dark berries on the nose, with sexy vanillin oak, Asian spices, fresh flowers and bright minerality. A silky, graceful midweight, displaying vivid raspberry and blackberry flavors and slow-building tannic grip. More tangy than the 2004, and at least as elegant, finishing with outstanding clarity and persistence. -International Wine Cellar

This wine is absolutely amazing. Very hard to find and when you do it is in very small quantities. It stands up next to some of the better CABs out there for a very reasonable price! Start looking for it!
