Above all an amazing value at less than $10 a bottle. Spicy cherry nose. About 70% spicy with perfectly balanced brilliant cherries and obese powerful tannins.
Bright fruity blackberries and black cherries on the nose. Gritty sour currants on the palate. Finish is meh.
Decanted around 3 hours, changed from a flat murky wine into a smooth and concentrated, yet clean flavor. Nice oak and coffee nose with notes of tobacco and cherry. Cream and vanilla on the palette with strong notes of ripe cherry. Really long finish that is very pleasant, predominantly cherry with notes of cola, vanilla and cocoa. Great value, even though I paid closer to $12 for this bottle.
This is a standard issue at a tapas bar I frequent. A bold and healthy bodied wine. Simple and great with food as it doesn't compete.

This one really surprised me. Got it from a friend that was coming in from Spain
A bit tight and a lot of oak on the nose upon opening but after decanting for 30 mins really showed nicely. Great red fruit up front of cherry and raspberry and a nice long mineral finish that got better over time. By far one of the best $10 bottles of wine in memory and a great example of a tempranillo.

An oaky, modern-style wine with a staunch mocha and vanilla influence, but the fruit is ripe and rich enough to handle it. Spicy and grainy on the nose, with vanilla and resin seeping through. The palate remains woody but is full of berry flavors, while the omnipresent barrel influence carries onto the rich, ripe finish.
A silky red, light but graceful, with focused cherry, spice and vanilla flavors. In the traditional style, but fresh and clean. Drink now through 2007.
Ruby red in color, with light strawberry flavors covered in toasty oak and vanilla. Very soft in the mouth, this crianza is round and smooth. This style of wine shows how beneficial oak aging can be for the Tempranillo grape.
Light and rosy in color, with spicy, peppery aromas blending with hints of raspberry and rhubarb, Very much in the leaner, spicier mold; the palate is slight and the finish dry and peppery.
100% Tempranillo; shows dark red with rich strawberry and raspberry notes finishing with a vanillin softness. A perfect partner to roasted meats and stews.
