Intense dark burgandy red in color showing lush and delicate notes of fresh red roses, cherries, vanilla and charcoal under a thin layer of slate. Wow! Medium to light in body with great acidity that lifts those fine tannins right off the palate leaving a lush rich cherry flavor lingering on the palate behind a tidelwave of bright red fruit! I'm having trouble writing and tasting as I'd rather keep dipping my nose in the glass! Good straight-forward wine that will age beautifully.
