Bodegas Castaño Monastrell Yecla 2009
Opaque black plum hue, aromas of dark stone fruits, leather and spice, flavor notes of dark berries, dried game and leather, integrated tannins, bright acidity, with a rich mouthfeel that lingers to a moderate finish. Great Value to pair with roast meats and game dishes.
Soft ripe fruits balanced by lithe, structural-yet-refined tannins. Here and there a note of oak, woody herbs or chocolate. Tasty, engaging and with a strong backbone.
