Bodegas Castano Monastrell 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

This incredible bargain from the Yecla region of Spain is medium-bodied, with a beautiful ruby color and a rich, ripe, raspberry-driven nose with hints of white pepper, which is mirrored on the palate. Fine grained, well integrated tannins lend stucture, and the spicy finish is long and lingering. One of Spain's greatest red wine values available today.

The most recent of these was completed in 2002 with the construction of state-of-the-art storage premises: completely air-conditioned, with a new cooling chamber. Read less
