Bodegas Carchelo Agapito Rico Monastrell Jumilla 2006

Member Review by applescruffs:

One word: versatile. This medium-bodied red will feel equally at home with the finest filet or mom's homemade spaghetti. Made from the Monastrell (AKA Mourvèdre) grape, it's mild tannins minimize "tartiness" while dark cherry and berry undertones balance the wine's spice flavors wonderfully, culminating in a seamless finish. This wine will charm the pickiest oenophiles - and starting around $8.99, the price ain't so bad either!
