Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

The Beronia Rioja Craianza lives up to the standards of wine from the region. On the nose it smells of sweet vanilla, toasted nuts, and sweet ripe berries and earth. On the palate, it tastes just as the smells, with hints of vanilla, nuts, sweet ripe blackberries, currant, and black plum, with a bit of spice, color is on the lighter side of the reds, with a medium body.
