Bodegas Ateca Garnacha de Fuego Calatayud 2010

External Review by We Speak Wine:

Bodegas Ateca's 2010 Garnacha de Fuego is 100% old-vine (65-85 years of age) Garnacha from the DO of Calatayud. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it offers up aromas of pure black cherries and violets. Dense on the palate and remarkably rich for its humble price, this great value over-delivers big-time. Drink this pleasure-bent effort over the next 3-4 years.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
