Bodegas Atalaya Almansa 2007
light bodied, nice warm weather red
Depth of flavor, plums, black cherries and white pepper.
Smooth, with a refreshing combination of juiceyness and minerality.
A fantastic bargain, very smooth and well-balanced, with elegant tannins. Drinking beautifully right now. Though it has some heft, the combo of fruit and spice and soft tannins make it drink well with lighter fare. Worked beautifully with a chicken-seafood paella.
