Bodegas Altanza Capitoso 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Colour: Intense garnet red with purple and violet glints. Clean and brilliant. Medium intensity of colour. Nose: Fresh fruits with an elegant touch from the French oak casks. It is a very fruity wine that evokes the Tempranillo variety in aromas like red fruit, blackberry, blackberry bush, redcurrant and notes of liquorice. Palate: Fresh, young, intense and nice. Well structured acidity with red fruits. Expressive and very well balanced. Food pairing: This wine can be paired with the most casual food because it has enough body for any kind of meat, but it is also subtle for smoother meals. It combines with any pasta, salad and vegetables, as well as starters and meat in general.

It is thus sited in one of the most fertile and privileged lands of the Denomination/ Apellation of Origin Rioja. The winery –its premises and gardens– is conceived, designed and built with the same heart as is put into its winemaking. We have used the noblest materials for its construction, striving always to blend tradition and modernity. This philosophy is easily noticed as soon as one takes a glance at the exterior appearance, but also at the beauty and functionality of the interiors –even the wines show a balance between oak and fruit.
