Bodegas Alcardet Brut Nature Reserva la Mancha 2008
Cuvés are produced from the right sort of base wine for sparking wines following the traditional Champagne method of second fermentation in the bottle and aged for the creation of bubbles and on yeast lees for many months until the wine achieves the anticipated bouquet. The wines are produced under the PDO La Mancha designation and the special brand name Cueva, sanctioned for the exclusive use of wineries in the Villanueva de Alcardete area using grapes from their vineyards and guaranteed to be of high quality and production standards.
Food Pairings for Bodegas Alcardet Brut Nature Reserva la Mancha
Clean but redolent of crisp, citrus elements of lemon and orange, this wine also has drying mineral notes that accentuate its citrusy tang. The mousse is relatively gentle too. The flavors are bright, fresh, and vibrant; cleanliness rather than fat is the transparent goal as citrus joins up with stoniness at the finish.
180000 bottles produced.
Notes: 3 years in bottle
