Sweet cherry, spicy woody scents. A bit earthy, tangy, and mushy strawberry flavors. Dry finish.
Color: more garnet than Cotes du Rhone, clearer too, no cloudiness, Nose: not nice, a little musty (though, in a 9:47 pm retrospect, not as musty as the Cotes du Rhone, fruity, light fruit, maybe strawberry, Addendum: “[sniff]..yeah, that’s a pretty sucky nose.” –Lamarr, Taste: fruity, a little sweet, almost syrupy compared to the Cotes du Rhone, yet not too syrupy, that’s the fruitiness kicking through. Lamarr: B (drinkable, friendly, a little sweet and fruity, but that’s not bad, I’m dope with it, rock on
nice medium-bodied red. With both tempranillo & granache it has a bit of earth and a little jammy, I would have this as a house red to pull out when everyone is having chips and salsa.
Average table wine. I paired this w/ a pizza and was disappointed about how the wine held up. Something missing. I've had worse, but I've had far better in this price range
Fruity, but too bright and acidic.
I got this as a gift, and would give it as one. It's got plenty of flavor without being too sharp.
