I really enjoyed this wine. I felt the wine to be very crisp, fresh and full of aromatic flavors. It is a light bodied wine and one that can be enjoyed alone or with a food pairing.

External Reviews for Bodega Weinert Malbec Blend Carrascal
There's an exotic edge to this white that makes it not quite typical for a Mendoza wine; this could be due to the influence of the European winemaker. In any case, the culture clash has produced an endearing Sauvignon Blanc, full of pears, juicy acidity, and a touch of vanilla bean. A great wine for white meat dishes.
A red blend based on Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. As with most of Weinert's wines, it is aged in large old casks, rendering a more Old World-style bottling. Carrascal is medium-bodied, full of blackberry and red cherry fruit aromas, and shows a hint of spice on the finish.
