Food Pairings for Bodega Tikalo Tempranillo Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Rubens
Old world nose- 'stinky cheese'/barnyard. Notes of mushrooms hit the mouth first, followed by a slightly oaky midpalate, with a bit of cherry underneath it all. Supple with soft tannins. I must disagree with the importer's shelf-talker mentioning 'intense red berries'- it's much more old-world.
