External Reviews for Bodega Tikalo Tempranillo Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Kios
Ruby-red. Currant and nutty oak on the nose. Hints at exotic fruits but comes across as less sweet than the Rubens, and more oaky. Finishes with substantial, toothdusting tannins.
Produced from 100% Tempranillo and aged for four months in both French and American oak. Nice notes of creamy oak accent raspberry and cherry fruit in this full-bodied Spanish red. A great wine to bring to your next gathering.
The outstanding 2003 Kios (100% Tempranillo) is an exceptional bargain. Attractive blackberry and blueberry aromas are followed by elegant, medium to full-bodied flavors. Tremendous density, purity, and ripeness cascade over the palate in this seamless beauty. It should drink well for 1ndash;3 years.
