100% Tinta de Toro from 30 year old ungrafted vines. A dark ruby garnet color with an aromatic nose of black cherry cola, tobacco, coffee grinds, and leather. The palate is extremely flavorful with lots of dark red fruit, unsweetened cocoa powder, dried mushroom and distinct dry earthiness. Termes is dry, medium bodied, with lively acidity, weak astringent tannins, and a long complex finish. This is a complex wine that is much more delicate than the 14.5% abv would have you believe. Big rustic wine with plenty of tannins and black fruits. Smoke, plum, blackberry, graphite that are balanced by a healthy acidity.
