Add your reviewFruit-forward, easy drinking cab-based blend. Very soft tannins, with a spicy peppery finish. Very nice berry nose. My wife, who is mostly a pinot drinker and doesn't care for cabs, loves it. I would put this in the category of a wine you could serve to both casual red drinkers, and more discriminating red wine fans.
My wife and I tasted this at a local wine merchant in Andersonville, IL when visiting my son and his wife. It went down well so we bought a couple of bottles. When we had our first bottle one evening while enjoying a wine marinated steak grilled to medium, we were surprised how REALLY, REALLY good it was. It isn't distributed in MN so I've bought bottles from MO and NJ to fill the space now allocated to it in my wine cooler. It is very smooth, slightly fruity and leaves a very nice taste after swallowing.
