At Norton Winery, we are convinced that wine is born in the vineyard, that is the reason why, the experience and professionalism of our agriculturist engineer and enologist combine in our wines, jointly with the knowledge of our people and their hand-craft spirit, together with state-of-the-art technology. Our vineyards produce a wide range of noble grape varieties, such as Malbec and Torrontés. Red varieties include Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Barbera, Sangiovese, Syrah and Pinot Noir. White varieties include Torrontés, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillón, Chenin Blanc and Riesling. After the work executed throughout the whole year on the farms, there comes the time for harvesting. The grapes selected reach the Winery where a series of hand-craft stages take place, resulting in the delicate wine we enjoy. Visits by appointment. Read less

Toasty yet ripe, showing ample mesquite and mocha notes to the raspberry ganache and rich plum fruit. Silky tannins line the dark, cream-tinged finish. Drink now through 2018. 60,000 cases imported. -NW - Wine Spectator Top 100, 2013

Chosen #36 on the Wine Spectator Top 100 2013! This wine made the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines list for the second time and it's easy to see why. Bold but supple with richness and depth, this Reserve Malbec has the stuffing to go the distance. Sourced from older vines averaging 30 years of age and given extended maceration of 25 to 30 days. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels. The Spectator scored it 92 calling it a Smart Buy and saying "Toasty yet ripe, showing ample mesquite and mocha notes to the raspberry ganache and rich plum fruit. Silky tannins line the dark, cream-tinged finish. Drink now through 2018."
