Winemaker's Notes:

Deep red colour with hints of purple. Expressive on the nose with notes of ripe black fruits, violets, and tobacco. Long finish.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Polished and supple, with fine tannins framing the rich kirsch, plum sauce and cassis notes, supported by a firm yet creamy frame, with hints of mocha and spice. Drink now. 60,000 cases imported. -NW The 2009 Reserve Malbec spent 12 months in first and second use French oak. Expressive aromas of sandalwood, exotic spices, mocha, cherry cola, and assorted black fruits lead to an elegantly styled, nicely proportioned, plush Malbec that will perform optimally from 2013 to 2021. It, too, is an excellent value.

Norton's Reserve Malbec is benchmark for the region in terms of price and quality. Lots of dark fruit and graphite character with plush tannins and a rich mouthfeel.
