The little wooden guy shrugs- not great, not bad, and a pretty good price. What's not to like? ... For the complete two day tasting, go to 2 Days per Bottle (http://2daysperbottle.blogspot.com/2008/07/norton-reserva-malbec-2004.html).
This was a really smooth wine with moderate but silky tanins. I had it with some salt lick BBQ and it paired very well. It had a spicy note to it so it held up well to the BBQ sauce. Aromas of black current dominated this wine.
Very smooth. Excellent value for the dollar. Interesting taste which makes it much more interesting than a restaurant house wine.
