Very nice full on the tongue. Better with food than by itself the first day I had the bottle open. I liked it at room temperature by itself after dinner the second day. Worth trying again.

The 2008 Reserva "R" is a blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Purple-colored, it has an enticing perfume of smoke, black cherry, and plum. Medium-bodied and elegant, it has savory flavors, good spice, and medium-length. Drink this solid effort over the next 5 years.
Solid, with ripe, focused plum, fig and boysenberry fruit laced with toast and spice notes, followed by a rounded finish. Direct and tasty. Drink now.
The 2007 Malbec (60%)-Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) Reserva is purple-colored with an alluring nose of cedar, smoke, espresso, black cherry, and black currant. This leads to a medium-bodied wine with a solid core of dark, savory fruit, excellent balance, tasty flavors, and a medium-long finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
Deep medium ruby. Aromas of blackberry, licorice, violet pastille and espresso. Sweet, spicy and intensely flavored, with a creamy quality to the fruit but also excellent energy. Finishes with broad, serious tannins and excellent length. This offers terrific value.
