Editorial Reviews for Bodega Dominio Buenavista Tempranillo Vino de Mesa de Andalucia Veleta Tempranillo Nuevo
A bit low intensity but the big black fruits are lurking and are amply accented with smoke, salt, and slate tones. Sweetly fruited with a great crisp quality that keeps this very focused. Still a touch estery but the dark red fruits are nice and pure, no wood here! Juicy blackberry fruit emerges with a minor herbal tone adding balance. Alovely medium bodied table wine that is very food friendly and would take a slight chill well. Delicious. 89pts
Smells a bit sweet with a touch of butter over a base of grenadine but without much complexity or intensity. Full of ine berry fruit a veritable melange of warm strawberries, raspberries and wartermelon that has a soft edge of minerality. A rich rose with relatively high alcohol but expressive and very good in it's style 88pts.

Beautiful berry color. Crisp berry flavors. Dry. I am going to buy a couple of more bottles. I like it very much.
Tanzer IWC rating July 2008 2007 Bodega Dominio Buenavista/Veleta Wines Tempranillo Nuevo Vino de la Tierra Contraviesa Alpujarra ($9; includes 10% garnacha) Saturated red. Lively red and dark berry aromas offer pleasant fresh appeal. Light in body and tangy, with lively redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors and good mineral bite. Finishes clean and brisk, with good clarity and persistence. This is a superb value. I'd serve it lightly chilled. 88
