This is a must-try for any Merlot fan - so different from the California style, the Monjardin challenges common perceptions of what a Merlot must taste like, while still maintaining many of the qualities we've come to love about the grape. This generously oaked wine offers layered fruit with a fresh bouquet of vanilla, Bing cherries and cassis. Full and savory in the mouth. Nice touch of spice and very slight oak lead to a long, velvety finish.

Winemaker's Notes:

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo: Traditionally known for its rosados, Navarra has now emerged as one of Spains most experienced winemaking areas. The wine matures in French and American oak for 12 months.
