- I was expecting a little more from this malbec, because it had received some very decent reviews. But my expectations might have overshot the wine a bit, so it didn't personally appeal to me that much. It had a nice bouquet, but it wasn't as rich and plummy as i like my malbecs. the notes were middling to high, with a bit more astringency than desired. given other opinions of this wine, i'm not sure i didn't have a bottle improperly stored at the store... may need to try this again to be fair
