- Monastrell, Trempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon Deep ruby red, very rich in color. The nose shows alcohol on this monster (14.5%) with some fruit, though this begins to blow off with some air. In the mouth this is a big wine with firm tannins and a strong acidity. With time flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and pepper come forward. I would really like to try this wine about 5 years from now to see how it comes together, right now it's still a bit muddled. 3/5 [NR]
