Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

User Reviews for Blue Teal Riesling

Winemaker's Notes:

Blue Teal Vineyards was founded in 1981, its first vineyard was planted just east of Lordsburg, NM and consisted of 11 varietals. The vineyard neighbored a large pond that welcomed migratory Blue-Winged Teals during the winter, thus becoming the vineyards mascot, and later namesake. Offering a large selection of award-winning wines, our philosophy is to let these wines express what was created in the vineyard with simple application of sun, soil and time.

Tasting Notes:

A lively and sweet expression of Riesling. The translucent pale yellow color catches your eye, while the ripe pear and kiwi aromas fill your nose, followed by the taste of baked ripe pear and lemon zest which greet your taste buds.
