The 2010 edition of Blue Mountain Brut (Gold Label) exhibits a fine rush of mousse that continues vigorously for 10 minutes before subsiding. There is a pleasing nose of bread yeast, brioche and arrowroot cookies. The entry is smooth, with some unction but just a bit tart. Otherwise, the finish is quite long and flavors are well balanced. For the price, one of the most Champagne-like bubblies from the Okanagan Valley. Nicely done!
