Blue Fish Riesling Sweet 2007
I purchased this riesling for the first time 2 weeks ago and it was so acidic that it was impossible to drink and I am a fan of riesling wine, especially from Germany. Unfortunately I poured it down the drain. I wonder if this was a bad batch. My brother, who ran a wine business in Macon France, is well versed in wines and told me to save the bottle in hopes that a batch could be identified. Wish I could say something good...sorry
Three and a half glasses
External Reviews for Blue Fish Riesling Sweet
This is a distinctly contemporary-style Riesling inwhich the fruit and acidity are perfectly balanced.
Aromas of apricot, peach, and a hint of grapefruit predominant on the nose. Fresh fruit flavors echo the aromas with nice, crisp acidity on the finish.
Blue Fish's Original Riesling is a medium-bodied, off-dry wine in modern packaging. It's broader and less acidic that most Pfalz Rieslings, coasting the mouth with hints of vegetable oil and citrus, then falls away quickly on the finish.
