Stumbled upon this at a wine bar. Great pinot for any occasion. Goes well with light fare when you don't want a white. The color is amazing. Read more

Tasting Notes:

The 2009 Block Nine Pinot is a beautifully lush Pinot Noir that shows its elegance. The aromas exhibit generous bright fruit with a mix of strawberry, violets, dark cherry and a hint of cocoa. Flavorful and silky in the mouth with good body, this wine shows wild strawberries, raspberry and a hint sandalwood to complete its complex finish. The Block Nine Caiden's Vineyards Pinot Noir is a light-bodied red wine. Displaying the characteristic aromas of bright cherry and earth notes which are the mark of a good California Pinot Noir, the wine cements its quality with soft and complex flavors of dark fruit and spice.
