Bleasdale Cabernet-Shiraz Blend Langhorne Creek Shiraz Cabernet the Broadside 2006

Member Review by cgplayer9:

Strawberry, blackberry and a bit of boysenberry. Medium-bodied, a little on the tart side, moderate finish. Went fairly well with a pepperoni pizza. Okay but not particularly noteworthy.

Ruby-red. Spicy cherry and dark berries on the nose. Juicy raspberry and blueberry flavors are firmed by dusty tannins and boosted by tangy acidity. Spice notes build on the gently sweet, persistent finish. Smooth and generous, a distinctive mouthful of mint-accented black cherry and tar flavors, long and appealing. Drink now through 2014. 8,000 cases made. -HS
