- The month of August was very hot, and allowed us to finish the century with early harvest. The Merlot grapes were harvested beginning of 15 September, and the Cabernet Francs were harvested beginning of 27 September. The weather was quite pleasant. The full maturity of the grapes produced a Blason de L'Evangile 2000 very much like its more distinguished sibling: very supple and fruity. Very dark in colour, with an expressive bouquet. It has a long and solid palate.
