External Reviews for Blandy's Bual Madeira
Elegant and fragrant, this reserve Bual is a medium-rich Madeira, moderately viscous and smooth textured. With five years in oak, it has concentrated dark chocolate-chestnut flavors. Generally served with dessert, the Portuguese enjoy it with cheese.
Bual is the second sweetest of the Madeira grapes. Vintage Madeira's must be 100% of the stated grape and aged for 20 years in barrel and at least two years in bottle before release. Aged Bual has notes of toast and stone fruits with full sweet finish yet balanced by elegant acidity
