From the volcanic isle of Madeira, 400 miles off the north African coast, comes this pale-colored Sercial. It has tangy, butterscotch-pecan aromas and is delicately flavored with spicy caramel and citrus notes. Sercial is the driest Madeira.

Best served chilled as an aperitif, this dry Madeira has soft fruit flavors with a hint of nuttiness and a clean, crisp finish. Delicious with rich dishes that need the acidity -- bisque soups, Manchego cheese or asparagus spears wrapped with Spanish cured Serrano ham. - Winery
