Blackstone Winery Cabernet Sauvignon California 2008
The Blackstone Cabernet Sauvignon has great complexity. Layered notes of caramel toffee, ripe plum, and black cherry are accented by the suggestion of cinnamon-spice in the aromatics of this wine. Dry, full-bodied and rich in texture, the flavors of black cherry and licorice dominate the palate and carry through to a long, warm finish. Fine, supple tannin structure will stand up to the heartiest of beef entrees, but will compliment the delicate texture of elegant pork loin roast and subtle veal cutlet with accompanying reduction sauces.
