Tasted the 05 at their tasting room back in October, fell in love, and brought a few bottles home. Still blown away by the outstanding and velvety balance of this wine. Round and full on the palate, this wine melts in your mouth. It's all green and herbal with just a hint of dark red cherries on the finish.
I tasted this at the winery tasting room and was very impressed (I bought a case!) This wine is mostly Cab Franc, one of my faves, and truly well balanced, full, with a smooth finish. Best with 1 hour decanting.
I get oak, asparagus, licorice and some herb (I think its oregano or maybe grass) on the nose. A pretty decent finish with more licorice. A solid balanced wine. Thank you Roger.

Absolutely delicious wine. When first opened is all cherry and herbal nose, then moves into deeper fruits (mostly blackcurrant and blackberry) with that same delicious herbal quality. Smooth, if slightly alcoholic, but would be excellent with enough cheese or meat to kill maybe half a percent's worth of alcohol. One of my favorite jammy wines, really quite decadent.
