This is a wonderful bottle of wine. Lots of coffee, dark chocolate, blackberry, and vanilla followed by structured tannins and a polished finish.
Luscious deep blackberry fruit with violets grace the nose. The wine is silky smooth, with warm spice and dried raisin flavors, and perks up with fresh lively acidity on the finish, melting into cocoa and a bit of oak.
Bright cherry nose, smooth and juicy wine, with a very nice acidic palate, some medicine, cherry cola, chocolate, and some oak.
my second time around and just as amazing as the first. loads of berries on the nose, dark fruit, black berries, currants, lots of complexity and concentration of fruit on the palate, beautifully balanced
berry-filled aromas, some dried dark cherries, currants and plums, round and silkier, fairly complex and high concentration of fruit, deep tannin structure, enjoyable finish
filled with berry aromas, blackberries, raspberries, boysenberries, rose tips and hints of milk chocolate. the palate is fruit forward with chocolaty notes and hearty earth
had this again at a pairing dinner and was wonderful all over again!
