Nose of honeydew, asian pear and guava. Loads of melon. Very crisp. - Tasted at Black Stallion 12/27/10
2009 and 2010 are in my cellar. It is my favorite light, bright, white wine. Pear with some peach and light apple in my nose and on my tongue. No oak, thank god! This is my "go to" wine in the heat of summer while floating in the pool, or as an aperitif before dinner (our French guests love it). Really, it is the best light, white, semi-dry wine.
The best white wine in California. Clean, clear, light, pear & peach, little Apple and lemon, and no oak. We stopped here first on a 5 day tour of Napa and Sonoma and almost never left the vineyard ! Reds and whites were both to die for. The Winery tasting room is a Class Act!
