Bitch Bitch 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

The wine sees no oak. The objective of the wine is to provide pure, explosive, unadulterated, hedonistic, uncompromising, juicy Grenache. Great fruit, a little ginger spice, and a touch of acidity to keep some balance.

The Bitch:
Bitch is the wine with the cheeky name and the sassy pink label produced by R Wines. This was originally a partnership between Australian winemaker Dan Phillips and California importer Chris Ringland, who imported it through Grateful Palates. As of press time, the partnership appears to have dissolved and Ringland is now producing the wine in Aragon, Spain. Bitch wines are available in red Grenache and “Bubbly,” a Chardonnay sparkling blend.
