Binyamina Yogev Cabernet/Merlot 2007

Member Review by VinoChica:

One of the best Kosher wines I've tasted. This red has deep berry fruits studded with notes of leather and spice. The tannins are fine and supple, giving it a nice structure for pairing with meat or other hearty dishes. It doesn't matter if you're keeping kosher or just want to try a wine from a new region. "Yogev" means tiller of the soil, a nice salute to the vineyard workers.

The wine reveals typical fruit aromas with hints ofred fruit scents, is slightly jammy and seasoned with a pinch of green scents. A medium bodied, complex and richly flavored wine.
