A unique, potent Montepulciano to pair with dark sauces.
The devaluation of the dollar makes this wine more expensive, but it is easily worth $40/bottle. Sabatino di Properzio, the owner, has found terrific vines around Spoltore and, with the help of Lucca D'Attona, he has created 2 fantastic wines: Binomio and Spelt. Binomio is now well known in Italy. It also has 2 Bicchieri in Gambero Rosso (Spelt also!). Binomio is the most potent Montepulciano that you will ever taste.
