Biltmore Estate® Riesling North Carolina 2008

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

This offers up sweet fruits on the nose with a tropical fruit, banana and lime edge that recalls fruit stripes gum with a bit of raw wood underlay. On the palate it shows more of the sweet fruit in much the same vein with plenty of vanilla and subtle, sweet wood spice tones. It’s round and generously styled but without much detail or complexity and turns a touch hollow on the short finish that highlights the woody spice. 87pts
