Food Pairings for Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Rose
One of my all-time favorite rose Champagnes. Balanced, refreshing and fruity... and consistently delicious.
Light, lovely, and rightly dry. Delicate bubbles and romantic to hold in hand--affords me to feel quite the elegant young lady.
Still one my favorite non-vintage Champagnes. This has real grace, with soft berry fruit aromas, gorgeous texture and a long, clean finish. It doesn't knock you over the head but lures you in very seductively.
Light red fruity nose. Nice bubbles, very soft acidity (nicely muted by the fruit). Some bready yeast notes, but very mild. Served with a ginger pork noodle broth. Lovely.
really beautiful light brick colour, but I think this bottle was not at its best, so I will have to taste another one!
This is an absolutely lovely NV Brut Rosé. Like with all of Billecart-Salmon's Champagnes, it is well balanced and composed - nice mousse, nice fruit, nice minerality and acidity - it's just very very nice! Recommended
All brut rosés should be so wondrous. This house delivers a consistent NV winner year after year. Perfect fruit/acid balance. Persistent fine bubbles. Integrated. Harmonious. Joyful juice.

Gorgeous, elegant, and modest, the Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose has lovely floral and berry aromatics, a fine bead with plenty of chalky structure and a lingering finish. An absolute gem for the dinner table!
Bright and elegant, this offers appealing flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and orange peel that show hints of toasted raisin bread, anise and sweet smoke. Offers a beautiful texture, with a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2015.
A coiled spring of a Champagne, with its berry and bread dough notes locked up in the structure. This needs time or food to mellow and reveal its charms. Good length, with a candied cherry aftertaste. Best from 2006 through 2009. (BS) Wine Spectator. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V. Billecart-Salmon Rose 375ml
Champagne Billecart-Salmon was founded in 1818, with the marriage of Nicholas Francois Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, and is run today by their descendent, Francois Rolland-Billecart. The firm owns 74 acres of vines, and buys in grapes from another 346 acres. The Brut Rose's pale pink colour is adorned with warm glints of gold, and its delicate, slowly rising bubbles give it a persistent mousse. The Billecart-Salmon Rose unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of fine notes of red fruits. Its special method of vinification gives this cuvée a light, elegant attack, followed by a fresh finish. Serving Suggestion: This rosé champagne is an ideal partner to an aperitif, but can also accompany a dish of wild salmon or sushi. For dessert, it will add a sublime touch to red fruit flavours.
Billecart-Salmon is one of my favorite Champagne houses, and their non-vintage Rose is a consistent winner. A delicate pink color is accompanied by gorgeous sweet cherry, strawberry, and mineral-like scents, assertive medium-bodied flavors, a delicate, crisp personality, and surprising depth as well as persistence. A beautiful berry character in the finish adds to this impeccable rose's captivating style.
The ripe black cherry, strawberry and damson plum fruit flavors offer an enticing profile in this seamlessly integrated rosé. Mouthwatering acidity and a mineral undertow mesh with hints of fruit cake, smoke and spice. Drink now through 2020.
The NV Brut Rose is a pretty, gracious wine. Freshly cut roses, red berries and spices take shape nicely in the glass as the wine shows off its understated, timeless personality. Billecart-Salmon's NV Brut Rose is a reliably tasty wine. This is Lot L... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V. Billecart-Salmon Rose 750ml
