Fine bubbles are the trademark of this great Champagne house and their Brut Reserve cuvee is no exception. The nose has a biscuity style with exotic fruits and hints of white flowers. The palate presents a good structured Champagne lifter as it should by the fine bubbles. Aromas of bread and biscuit are in the front with a sweet background. The acidity is well integrated. The finish is soft and mineral yet rich enough to last. I have tried this Champagne many times with food and the best match I have experienced will be with sushi and sashimis. Really worth the treat! Pale gold. Fresh peach, pear and nectarine on the nose, with a complicating note of white flowers. Fleshy, plush and ripe, with strong peach and ripe pear flavors in a more powerful and less restrained style than last year's release. Firms up on the finish, picking up a mineral note and showing very good balance and length.

Billcart Salmon Brut is one of our favorite non-vintage cuvees. This Champagne is elegant and refined, with pear blossom and green apple character, creamy mid-palate, and a very fine mousse.

More bass than treble. Full-bodied and voluminous, this delivers subtle, complex shadings of whole-grain bread, coconut and candied fruit, finishing with a distinctive rhubarb preserve aftertaste. It's rich and balanced on the soft side.

A very flavorful wine, with apple and cream flavors and a creamy finish.

WE 92pts. - Winemaker Notes - Appearance: This cuv e, with reflections of straw yellow, stands out by the finesse of its slowly rising bubbles and its persistent and abounding mousse.Aroma: Maturity touched with floral freshness for this cuv e that breathes aromas of fresh fruit and ripe pears. Palate: A full and accurate flavour combined with a fine freshness and a rich bouquet bear witness to the ageing of this cuv e in the House s traditional cellars.

Bright and elegant, this offers appealing flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and orange peel that show hints of toasted raisin bread, anise and sweet smoke. Offers a beautiful texture, with a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2015.

External Review

A vibrant, well-knit version, lacy in texture and offering an appealing mix of juicy, fresh-cut apple, pear tart, pickled ginger, honey and lemon flavors. Drink now through 2020.
