The Billecart-Salmon House is the embodiment of these rare family businesses who have constantly strived to build the legend of Champagne. The family's independence has helped them to maintain a sense of continuity in the concoction of their champagnes with as their watchwords: finesse, balance and elegance. Each generation has endeavoured to propel the art of wine-growing into modern world, while remaining firmly rooted in almost two centuries experience.
40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir & 30% Chardonnay. Maca verde e pao.
Fine bubbles are the trademark of this great Champagne house and their Brut Reserve cuvee is no exception. The nose has a biscuity style with exotic fruits and hints of white flowers. The palate presents a good structured Champagne lifter as it should by the fine bubbles. Aromas of bread and biscuit are in the front with a sweet background. The acidity is well integrated. The finish is soft and mineral yet rich enough to last. I have tried this Champagne many times with food and the best match I have experienced will be with sushi and sashimis. Really worth the treat! The ripe black cherry, strawberry and damson plum fruit flavors offer an enticing profile in this seamlessly integrated rosé. Mouthwatering acidity and a mineral undertow mesh with hints of fruit cake, smoke and spice. Drink now through 2020.
Pale gold. Fresh peach, pear and nectarine on the nose, with a complicating note of white flowers. Fleshy, plush and ripe, with strong peach and ripe pear flavors in a more powerful and less restrained style than last yearandrsquo;s release. Firms up on the finish, picking up a mineral note and showing very good balance and length
The NV Brut Rosé emerges from the glass with the essence of freshly cut flowers, berries and minerals in a mid-weight, gracious style. It shows gorgeous inner perfume, along with persistent notes of chalkiness that frame the long, sublime finish. Year in, year out, this estate’s NV Brut Rosé is one of the most consistently outstanding wines in the region.
A bone-dry but delicious wine, with red fruits and a beautiful onion-skin color that just hints at rosé. Lovely acidity completes the serious and highly enjoyable wine.
Intense , sophisticated and elegant, this hard-to get Champagne can be enjoyed on its own or with most light meals
Made with a high proportion of Pinot Meunier, this is elegant, fruity, with plenty of good acidity and a wonderful floral character. It is so fruity, fresh, a wine for real enjoyment.
A dry rosé, freshly tasting of red currant fruits, laced with beautifully refreshing acidity. The wine has some weight, but it has more of an elegant, dancing lightness.
